Try as we must

Promises made which could never be fulfilled

My children always ask for unlimited promises

My children ask for life forever

Try as we must

Fight as we do

Life will always conclude

Time will always win

Immortality I seek

I promise to be there forever

A promise I know I cannot keep

Because I study the endless.
