Start a story with a syllogism.

A syllogism is a rhetorical device that makes use of deductive thinking. It usually follows the format of ‘A is B. B is C. So A is C.’ An example may be: Killing is evil. An assassin kills people. So an assassin must be evil.

Oh Death

They say your life flashes before your eyes. I am currently on a train going who knows where, with a bunch of different versions of myself at a bunch of different ages of my life. So I must be dead, or at least dying.
