POEM STARTER
Write an Epode based on any theme you like.
An Epode is a style of poetry where each verse is two lines which differ in meter and structure, but the second line is always shorter than the first.
Stain
You splash into my life effortlessly
Setting like a stain
I don’t carry Tide To Go and I won’t immediately put myself through the wash
I let you fade naturally
You’ll always be there in my fabric
But you don’t ruin my outfits anymore
