Tedious Trials
“Are you serious? This is crazy! I fought eight bandits on a mountain side during a rock slide. I trekked through potentially hazardous wastelands caring a a variety of delicate ancient talismans in hopes to dispel a magic wall. I have solved so many problem, countless puzzles and an endless amount of riddles I didn’t even think I knew the answers to.”
“For some reason I have been ambushed not once, but on two entirely separate occasions by robbers and cultist trying to call some other worldly being. Just last moon there was a band of orcs and trolls I heard set fire to a village, stealing anything they could before setting the place ablaze. Guess who put out that fire and saved four young villagers from their fiery demise. On the opposite side of that village there was an evil Ur cultists priest leading an occult circle attempting to sacrifice a villager for some devilish power.”
“I had been trapped in a dragons den. Fell through some loose brush down a tunnel and right into the dragons horde. Into the dragons horde! I must have been trapped in there for a fortnight or more. Luckily I was able to survive having saved a clutch of dragon eggs from being experimented on by Lord Azerl.”
I cannot believe this, it’s going to take me another two maybe three moons to get to the Council of the Archfey Paladins. This final ascent had best be the final trial and test in my journey to acquire higher rank. I do grow weary of only stopping petty illegal magic item ring smuggling operations.
