Falling into the Dark (Voluntarily)

Beacon is a hero.

She’s devoted her teenage life to do what’s right. Protect people. Enact justice.

Be the beacon of hope that her town needed.

But she failed.

She failed Salen, her best friend. And now she’s dead.

Pippa Folly is no hero.

Salen would have wanted her to continue being that role model. Be the protector.

But she isn’t here anymore.

Ink Spill needs to go down. No matter what.

Cotton, Water Craze, whatever she should call him, he won’t approve of what has to be done. Which is ironic considering he used to be her villainous enemy.

Vengence is tugging at her heart, pulling her towards the dark. She could light the way, it is her power after all. But she won’t.

She needs the dark.

Whispering a silent apology to Cotton, she walks up to someone that can help her with her avenging plot.

Flood gives a wicked smile.

“Hello, Beacon. Hero life not going so well?”
