In a little while, I will watch the dirt pile atop of your forever residence. Your voice will slowly fade from my memories and your laughter will never be heard again. I know in a little while I will feel ok, maybe even shower again one day. You know for a little while I really thought we would grow old together. Being this happy and silly and free is something only you were able to pull out of me. I didn’t expect to out live the record books but I specifically asked God to let me go first. I can tell you my heart feels, life without you is literally the worst. We had plans for the future and blue prints drawn out but it’s going to take me a little while to figure all this out.
