POEM STARTER
Write a poem on any topic you like using slant rhyme.
Slant rhyme is where two words sound very similar, but do not exactly rhyme. For example: soon/gloom, cloud/doubt.
In The End 
Blue on black,
Tears on a river,
Fall for the monster,
Pray for the sinner.
Shadows at night,
Hope in the dark,
A wet Band-Aid,
On a broken heart.
A scrape on the knee,
A kiss in the wind,
None of it matters,
We’ll be dead in the end.
