Bala Lake stretched out for miles around. It held beauty, happiness and mystery within its depths, like a siren calling to those who wanted to explore it.

To look over the surface of it, there was an amazing view, with mountains up over in the background and the glittering surface reflecting the suns rays. Even on cloudy days, the lake sparkled like the angels has blessed it.

Below the surface though, lied dark secrets that no man should ever have seen. Hundreds of skeletons lay at the bottom, never to see the light of day again. A lake that had no discernible bottom was a great place to hide victims, or yourself.

The hundreds of skeletons lay across the 4.8km radius of this lake. Never to be found. Never to be searched for. Presumed missing and nothing more.

Maybe one day the skeletons will return to the surface. Perhaps one day they will take their revenge on a society who forgot about them. Meanwhile, they lay at the bottom of that lake, watching and waiting for the right moment to strike.
