Villain’s Grace
Blood.
That was the first thing I saw.
Blood stained dress, blood soaked halls
And bodies lining the walls.
A dance of carnage and death,
Two villains together
Dancing a tune
Fallen in love years ago
Beneath the moon
Why choose the hero?
When villains give you anything you need.
Piles of gold
And gems on bloodied silver platters.
All they need to do is plead.
A hero will sacrifice you for the world,
A villain will burn it to simply fulfill your needs.
But villains are fickle,
Loyal to none.
Heed a warning,
I’ll only give one.
Stand too close to the sun,
You’re doomed to fall.
Ignorant fool.
Here you are,
A puddle of your own blood.
You really think you were something?
They may do anything for you,
But their loyalty runs true.
Only themselves.
How far you’ve fallen,
Little one.
How does it feel now?
To be the victim.
Falling from the sky,
A star thrown from grace.
The sky can only hold so much,
You simply took up too much space.
Now here you are,
Broken and replaced.
The sky full of stars
Seeming dead and cold;
A place once so magical
Now hurt to behold.
