WRITING OBSTACLE
Choose one of your own writings, and critique it as if it were an award-winning novel or poem with outstanding reviews.
Try to shamelessly pick out positives that can be emphasised in a hyperbolic review-style summary. (Please do not review other people's work!)
Critiquing Poems
*for the prompt of the day*
Now, start with this one, a simple haiku-
Crimson tears fall down
Silent screams within the night
Scars that never heal
I find this poem evocative and quite impressive; it brings a sense of certainty to the reader. While this poem paints a vivid picture, I feel each reader has a different image. This poem is extremely well written, and feels personal to the reader. Well done. 7/10
