Poets And Poems, I Guess:
Now I’m not really a poet
And I actually don’t like poetry
(If you can believe it)
But a poem is like a story
It has a purpose
(Only a little bit)
And I’m here to say
From one to another
(No, it’s not going to be lit)
That a poet is as only as good
As their poem
(And that’s saying shit)
For what one puts down
Is what one thinks of themselves
(If you don’t believe me, search it)
And poems, I guess
Are the embodiment
(Of humans, of course, nitwit)
And when we put our mind
To the task
(Of poems, writings, what’s it)
We think of not only ourselves
But our world and put it down
(And that’s it)
