I walked down the street. Enjoying time by myself for once.

It was dark out which probably wasn’t the smartest idea on my part, but it was a small town, nothing would happen.

The cool summer breeze was rather relaxing, making me feel less anxious. I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard foot steps trailing behind me.

I turned around to see a woman about my height right behind me. I didn’t see anything dangerous about her, so instead I just smiled at her.

“Hello! It’s a beautiful night isn’t it?” She stared at me for a moment, then plunged a knife into my stomach.

I fell onto my knees, shocked. I watched her run away before everything just went black.
