“So my friend Angela says she thinks she’s cursed,” Becca said, taking the lid off her hot latte cup. She leaned over the tiny circular table when she said it, because it was pretty busy in the coffee shop. “For real?” Jasmine said. She let her grin burst forth. “Like, for reals cursed?” “Yeah, like cursed by a witch or something, she didn’t say how she got it, though,” said Becca and she sipped. “OMG, that is so lame and so like Angela,” Jasmine said, laughing. “What does she think she’s cursed with?” “Angela said she’s cursed with always discovery that people are talking about her,” Becca said. “OMG,” Jasmine said. “I know, right? What a narcissist!” Becca said. “No, I mean OMG, look!” Jasmine said, starring, slack jawed. Becca turned around to see Angela, coffee in hand, starring back in horror. He eyes were bulging, she had turned pale, and was shaking noticably. Then she ran out. “Um…” Becca said.
