POEM STARTER
Door shut tightly, might the monsters come.
Write a poem which ends with this line. You may wish to interpret the 'monsters’ metaphorically rather than literally.
Dimples
He's coming.
His dimples appear slightly
A smile you can't outrun
Agony rattled the crimson walls
The screams aren't fun
Cold metal on the swollen flesh
Where he rests the gun
Fought against thick rusty chains
Don't even try to fucking run
Door shut tightly
Might the monsters come
