A puzzle has many parts,

Each coloured for a purpose.

Needing patience for the start,

To finish a picturesque circus.

I want to say I’m contrasting,

But my window views are cracked.

Time away is passing,

Intrusive thoughts haunt and tracked.

Why must I be ashamed?

I fear those who are offended.

So many to be blamed,

For the trauma they have blended.

Smash them into pieces,

Ignore me in the hustle.

Wait until my mind unleashes,

Then again…I am but a puzzle.
