Seasons
The chilly winter,
Covered in snow
But warmed with hot chocolate
And a fireplace glow
Christmas time is just the merriest
And when it ends is quite the scariest
For I’ll miss the snowflakes falling down
But I’ll turn my frown upside down
For next is the temperate, colorful spring
Filled with flowers and showers and wonderful things
There is no sight quite like the first bloom
And sometimes the weather gets chilly and wet
But have no fear!! for warmer weather will come soon
And then it’s summer, heat tamed with ice
But sometimes the weather gets quite nice
Taking refreshing dips in the pool
Can feel relieving or a little too cool
But when the leaves start fading red
We’ll know that summer is at its end
The trees and their branches will be bare
But the ground will have quite the wonderful flair
Of colors like red, orange, yellow, and brown
And you’ll be quite happy with your content little town
In the middle of fall you will want it all
The hats and the gloves which you should have recycled
For now we will just repeat the cycle!
