The shadows draw in across the sky,

Veiling the blue,

Masking the sun.

But in this darkness,

The moon illuminates,

As it watches the night run

The spotlight shines

On maybe a house,

Or maybe that mouse,

That scurries by.

And in the sky it shines all night.

The stars are out too,
