Fades
What sucks about life is that it fades
As you go in things start to change
The fun that you had when a kid may be vague
But the memories you create will stay until such a day
Such a day where your thoughts don’t seem quite real
The day when they can’t ask you how you feel
A day when you forget the simplest math
The day when truly the late is your past
Only then will everything haze
The memories of fun and games
The scraps of the past with begin to black out
So the things people think will start to black out
No longer will you remember all the names
The songs
The faces
No longer the games
But that’s when there remind you and you’ll smile No doubt
And you’ll think how silly
And laugh all about
But the saddest of all is when you start to doubt whether there really real
Whether you ever shout
Shout out it’s raining
Or song a song
Weather you ever danced and played along
Eventually your sway and the river will stop until you once again think what was life all about?
Memory.
