So Tired

I’m feeling exhausted. Two nights of bad sleep is taking its toll. I try to close my eyes while in the train to a work appointment, but my mind keeps racing. It feels like my head is working over hours. So many things to think about, worry about, making decisions about. I take a deep breath and try to let it all go for a moment. Another breath in and out. Grounding myself in the present moment. At the third breath I start to notice a difference. I’m feeling more calm and am thankful for the tool in my toolbox.
