The rain was hitting the ground

Almost at the speed of sound

But no one ran back home

Because they wanted to do something precious

I was walking along the street

With my jacket still looking so neat

Holding my umbrella

Which had nothing but rainbow colours

I then saw a boy

Who certainly wasn’t feeling joy

The rain was almost consuming him

So I beckoned him to join me

And we started holding the umbrella together

Then the whole street joined in

And it was barely a sin

Because everyone decided to come together

And support those who are needy this Christmas
