Death Is An Empath
Red and blue lights, flashing
White walls and cold, sad words
Even gaia seems to be crying
Everyone but the black butterfly
Who has left his body buried in the ground
And is now running away
Running fast and free
When the symphony of tears stoped
An estranged soul is left
She is broken down
In pieces scattered across the mud
Her screaming at the granite plaque
Praying to god, demanding for him
To bring back her black butterfly
This is her lucky day
while all the gods, fairies, unholy monsters and demons, lochness monsters and leprechauns
Can hear her call
Only death decided to answer
Only the one who stole him from her can bring him back
Death is shrouded in the shadows
She's still staring down at the headstone sobbing while she repents her god
Until a little black butterfly makes its way to her nose
As she looks at it and it stares back
A long process of healing has just begun
The black butterfly flew back into deaths cold arms
"Goodbye dad"
The little girl shed a final tear.
