My heart bled for you again today

In a haze of purple it billowed

Out towards the sky, across the fields

Swirling through the clouds

Unstoppable in it’s pain

While I stood and watched

Sheathed by my umbrella

And a tear rolled down my cheek

If sadness were a colour

It would be purple ☂️💜
