Javon has no idea why he is here. This is a dream place he’s never seen before. He thought it was strange that there’s fog rolling in on a summers’ night like this. If it were real, it wouldn’t be this frigid. Icicles hang from edges of buildings as he walks by them on fallen leaves. Autumn has dawned and lesson for life is neigh.

Upon walking, Javon noticed what seemed like a mortuary, which he thought was strange, given dying is one of his worst worries in life. Battling with depression and being afraid to die is often two things that walk parallel lines together. Afraid, Javon continues walking. Nothing has been to scary yet and he is a tough young man. Fear knows him, not the other way around. As he continues down this row, the buildings take shape into a multitude of grave stones. Each inscribed with simply a word or two. Confused on why this is the world he is in until he awakens, he sets off to understand.

With each step comes a word. Each word is relevant, but it is not in a particular order. Or is it? Upon the thousands of stones, Javon must find ones that mean something to him; they spell his future and his path. As he is walking, so very far from where he began, something stops him. It’s a word he hears often in his head, but not aloud. It rings differently when he says it. It brings a pain and ache never embodied before; hope.
