POEM STARTER
Human souls are part of a pattern too large to see in each individual. Together, we form something greater than we can imagine.
Write a poem based on this idea. It can be loosely related, but should focus on the theme of individuals vs. togetherness.
Weave Souls
In the quiet hum of a thousand hearts,
each pulse a lone note in the symphony of life,
I wander, a solitary traveler—
yet not alone,
for every step is echoed
in the rhythm of countless others.
We are scattered sparks in a dark sky,
tiny flickers of light,
each one burning in its own way,
but together,
we kindle a blaze
that outshines the stars.
Individually, we are whispers,
fleeting and soft—
a secret shared with the wind,
lost among the rustle of leaves.
Yet, in the mosaic of existence,
each soul forms a tile,
an intricate pattern too vast
to grasp by a single gaze.
In our solitude, we are complete,
but in our union,
we become something greater—
an eternal tapestry woven
by unseen hands,
where every thread, every hue,
speaks of a cosmic design
beyond our simple knowing.
So let us gather,
each note a vital part of a hymn,
each heartbeat a cadence in a cosmic lullaby,
reminding us that
while the individual sings
its own beautiful verse,
together we compose
the masterpiece of existence.
