smiles in the sun

splashes on their feet

rays in my eyes but I’m grateful for the heat

this place people come to

to simply just exist

a stream and a rainbow

& cliffs sea salt kissed

laughter is the clouds

in a sky gold and red

kids jump and run

and adults they play pretend

time has well clocked out

and life’s become its friend

but shall I ruin the moment

by fearing it will end?
