Almighty
The world will burn.
War. The planet will be brushed thoroughly with flames of war. It was official now.
I nearly tripped over my coffee table. It was a weird feeling. Like a tunnel with no light, no spirit, nothing I can comprehend. A bird in my window probably was thinking about the same thing. Or perhaps nothing.
Most likely nothing.
Sound came strong through my computer. “We’re coming for you,” that’s all I heard. Suddenly I realized I was trapped in an ant colony, never even thought about being enslaved. I did everything as I was told to, I approached the goals given any different day as it was my passion to complete them. The almighty was always pleased with me. I got my rewards weekly.
I lived my life in comfort, kept saying the same things. I smiled when greeting people, I took the side of the downtrodden. None of it mattered. I was part of the machine. I had became a cell of the almighty. My tasks were insignificant, none of them mattered in the grand scheme. I was nothing.
My life has been a lie.
My words were all lies.
Today I finally realized it. And all I had to do was to break a taboo to do that. No wonder they control this.
So, they’re coming for me. I sat down and stared at my screen. The very same one that gave me in. Listened and recorded me for years. I did give my consent to it. That was back then.
A new email. I clicked it open. “Are you ready? Follow me and they won’t get you.” It said. There was a link. I opened the website and saw what it was called.
The world will burn.
