⚠️Hi! So I’m using characters from a story I started book I started writing. I lost motivation but I still think it’s a great idea. I didn’t get far, but my brain continued to come up with great ideas. If this was apart of the story it would be in the third book. Let me know what you think! Sorry for any mistakes! Charolette walked through the quiet corridor. She had officially been in Nexus for about a year. She was glad she had made up with her friend and she had finally reunited her brother. Her father was finally gone. Her new mission was to free her mother.

While walking, she walked past a door and heard lots of chattering coming from the room. She noticed that it was a conference room. She stopped and went back to the room. Slowly, she opened up the door.

Inside of the conference room she saw her brother, Evreux, her best friend, Ryker, and her other best friend, Aslan. They were talking, well it sounded more like arguing. It sounded like they were talking about her.

“We can finally give her back her normal life,” Ryker tried to say convincingly. “She does not deserve to stay trapped here forever.” Aslan reluctantly agreed with him. Aslan had fallen in love with Charlotte and didnt like the idea of sending her home.

“You are not taking my sister away from me again. I just got her back I can’t loose her now!” Evreux shouted. “We already lost our mother and our father is a no good selfish person. She’s the only family I’ve got left. I can’t loose her.”

“Send me home?” Charlotte butted into the conversation. “You want to get rid of me? After everything we’ve been through together. This is how you repay me?”

“Charlotte, it’s not what it sounds like-“ Aslan started, but he was quickly cut off by an angry Charlotte.

“You want to send me back to the place I dreaded being everyday. Is that really want?” She shouted furiously. “I can’t believe you guys. I’m glad my brother has my back.”

“Charlotte you didn’t walk in at a good time.” Evreux explained. “We are all debating wether to send you home or not. I think it’s a good idea to send you back to your normal life, but I can’t bare the thought of loosing you again.”

“I can’t believe you guys.” Charlotte said in disbelief. “But fine. If you want to send me home so badly, let me help you out.”

Charlotte left the conference room, leaving the boys there to wait for her return. They all stood there in shock. They couldn’t grasp what just happened.

Arriving to her room, Charlotte started rummaging through all of her stuff. She was looking for one specific item. The book that brought her here and the ring that goes with it.

Once she found it, she quickly and angerly grabbed a bag full of her stuff and made her way back to the room she left her friends and her brother in. She made her way across the large castle.

She made it back to the room. She stormed in and slammed the book onto the table. She put the ring on her finger without saying a word to the boys.

“Charlotte, please calm down. Let’s talk about this.” Ryker said. He placed his hand on her shoulder and tried to stop her.

“The things that brought me here are the things that will take me home.” She said, jerking her shoulder away from him.

She repeated the same ritual she performed one year ago to bring her here. After finishing all of the steps, a portal suddenly opened up from under her feet. She quickly fell through the portal. Aslan and Ryker both jumped into the portal to try and stop this madness.

Charlotte landed on the floor of her apartment and then she felt to heavy things fall on top of her. She quickly realized that it was Ryker and Aslan. Panic arose inside Charlotte. Why had they followed her? How were they going to get back to Nexus?

Then she realized the reality of the situation. She was home.
