Rage
Juno gaped at him, her eyes wild with rage.
“What!” Aistis demanded. He had asked a very simple question, “where are you from and what is your family name?” Because he didn’t want to be walking around with a stranger! What was so bad about that?
James backed away slowly, a look of fear on his face. “Run,” he mouthed to Aistis. He shook his head. Why should he run?
“I. Don’t. Know,” Juno said slowly, a growl in her words.
“What do you mean *you don’t know*?!”
“I DONT KNOW. IM SERIOUS YOU SAY OKE MORE THING ABOJT IT ILL-“
“JUST TELL ME, STOP MAKING EXCUSES.”
“…”
Silence. Silence all around. Everyone had stopped dead in their tracks, watching, waiting.
“IM GOING TO STRANGLE YOU,” Juno shouted, lunging at him like an animal. Fire danced in her eyes as she stood over him, sword pressing against his neck. “You don’t say or as *anything* about my past, do you hear me?” She whispered soft enough for only him to hear. Aistis couldn’t nod without killing himself on her sword’s point, so he stared up at her, his answer clear in his eyes. “Good,” she said, sheathing her sword, it’s hilt peaking over her shoulder. “They’re dead. All dead. I don’t know a single thing. This is why you don’t ask. Let this be a lesson,” she said over her shoulder before walking away.
“WHY WOULD YOU SAY ANY OF THAT!” Karyan demanded. Had *everyone* but him known or made the same mistake as him? No one had told him, so how could he have known!
“I didn’t realise she was going to tell me soemthing so personal!” Aistis argued.
