An Observer To The End

The end was always supposed to come, the clattering of horse hooves as the horsemen rode. Death, War, Famine & Pestilence. All racing across the earth, leaving behind nothing except destruction and disaster.

A young man, with long black hair, pale skin and cute freckles looks over it all. He was interested in what happened to the planet he had watched grow and change for eons. Zegal watched the plant's crust crack like and egg, lava pouring from the cracks as if the planet was bleeding. Eye level with Zegal, thunderclouds had rolled in, lightning pouring out as if it were rain, striking the 4 billion year old plant with enough forse to vaporise the oceans.

Zegal stood watching it all, marvelling at how millions of year and trillions of beautiful creatures wiped out as the horsmen rode. The sounds didn't reach Zegal's vantage point. As he watched the gates of hell open, demons spilling out. The desperation made Zegal chuckle, the angel resting his head in his hands as he watches. The apocalypse was ever so quiet. The beginning of the universe was much more exciting.
