I am grateful for the silent starlight. Without them I could never safely roam. The compass of my travels and my heart, I know that they will always lead me home. Wherever I go, the stars, they follow. It takes one glance at the night sky to know, I am safely grounded by their tether, I don’t ever want them to let me go. They bring me hope in the darkest of times, And urge me to always do what is right. One day I will return to be with them. I am grateful for the silent starlight.
