Strait Of Woes

"What is the plan of attack?" Asked Cancer psychically. The old wizard was ensconced in a giant glowing red crab form, floating in the midst of several pods of whales and dolphins. Juan thought Cancer sounded happier than he'd been since his resurrection.

Juan used the Vimana as a transmitter to communicate with the assembled sea creatures. "Our goal is to close the Strait of Woes. To do that, we need to sink as many battleships and submarines as we can, destroy the enemy's ability to use this waterway. Once we've done that, the Sanglorians will be prevented from getting any reinforcements. It'll have the secondary benefit of stopping all Fluid Karma export from Cuahalan, which will bring pressure from the entire world to liberate the country."

Continuing, Juan explained, "I'll use the Vimana to take out as many ships as I can, starting fires, destroying their armaments, and forcing them to sink or turn back. Whales and dolphins, you're responsible for their forces when they hit the water. Drag them down to the depths. Smash their life rafts. Devour as many as you like."

An excited chirping erupted among the whales and dolphins. The Sanglorians were notorious spear fishers and whalers, and every family had lost relatives to them. The time had come to even the score.

"If I can target a submarine," Juan said, "I'll sink it and you all can turn it sideways across the Strait, making another blockade. Now, once the Strait is closed, do you have a safe means to exit the Bay when the battle is finished?"

"Yes," answered Kette. "There is a passage deep under the Strait which will allow the whales and dolphins to escape, no matter how deep the wreckage is."

"Excellent," said Juan. "Let's take up our battle stations. We'll proceed to the middle of the Strait. None shall enter or leave."

Juan drove the Vimana forward, surrounding by Cancer and the pods of whales and dolphins. Once in the middle of the Strait, they didn't have long to wait before the first ship began approaching. Juan launched a missile into the center of its hull, and soon deep booms rocked the Vimana as the target ship was breached.
