Storm Over the Ocean
There was a relief in feeling
the storm was approaching
It meant she could hide the evidence
Of what had transpired in an instant
She pushed him off the deck
It was not an act of recklessness
In a split second she had made a decision that would effect her future
But no one was around
to tell the story
For the storm would wash away the evidence and all his former glory
‘Would they miss their captain?’,
she mused.
Off course not
There had been a mutiny
on the rise that
he was not privy too
A deceitful man,
got just what he deserved
For betraying her love they used to share under the stars above
