Storm Over the Ocean

There was a relief in feeling the storm was approaching It meant she could hide the evidence Of what had transpired in an instant She pushed him off the deck It was not an act of recklessness In a split second she had made a decision that would effect her future But no one was around to tell the story For the storm would wash away the evidence and all his former glory ‘Would they miss their captain?’, she mused. Off course not There had been a mutiny on the rise that he was not privy too A deceitful man, got just what he deserved For betraying her love they used to share under the stars above
