Crisp Nights

It was always cold here in Brunswick Maine. But it was different this time, when I step outside the air felt crisp, like you’re walking on thin snow that had melted and turned into a thin layer of ice. Snow fall was heavier than I remember, it almost looked like a thick fog. Thick like when you stick your hand out in front of you and can’t see it.

I loved it here anyways though, visiting back and forth became a drag. But moving back from summer beaches to this winter wonderland had a special ring about it, you get the best of both worlds.

Even though I love it here when I visit, I’m glade I get my summer weather beaks. I get cabin fever from being here to long, getting locked in from the snow isn’t a to often assurance. But when it does happen, oh boy. Just know I’ve played every board game, rinky-dinky magic toy, and home made house games I can think of. This trip, I came prepared, I brought new games to my dads. Since we already have all the board games and magic toys the small town shops near by sell. I’ll be leaving theses here to add to the collection.

Back to the summer time weather thoughts, since we’re not snowed in quite yet, I have time to day dream before we play all the games I had brought. Santa Barbara California, nice sunny skies, water and sand. Now that’s paradise to my mom, and I can probably agree with her that it’s definitely a slice of paradise in my heart. Beach houses are great, I get to see the beautiful sunrise and set through the windows, can go for a walk with sand in between my toes whenever I’d like. I’m glade I get to keep up with my tan out there, it’s good for the skin anyways.
