The Secret

There was a girl who appeared to always follow the rules, at least to everyone's knowledge. She was attentive in school, never involved in conflicts, and obedient to her teachers. However, her twin sister was the sole individual aware of the truth about her. She kept silent, unwilling to land her twin in trouble by revealing her real nature.

At 6 am, Aki rose from her bed, glancing over at her still-sleeping twin, Asa, on the other side of the room. She approached Asa and gently shook her. "Asa, wake up. It's time for school," she insisted. Asa merely turned away, paying no attention. Aki, somewhat exasperated, nudged Asa out of bed, prompting her to grumble but eventually rise.

Both girls changed into their chosen attire for the day. Asa donned black ripped jeans, a plain white shirt, and a black leather jacket. Meanwhile, Aki opted for an oversized white hoodie and black leggings. Aki skillfully styled Asa's brown hair with red streaks into a tousled bun, while her own brown hair with blonde highlights was fashioned into a top braid.

Afterward, they made their way downstairs to the kitchen, where each fixed a cheese sandwich to eat before starting their journey to school.

Arriving at school, Asa and Aki headed to their respective classes. The day unfolded as any typical school day would.

After school, Asa set off to a mysterious destination known only to Aki, while Aki made her way to the school library. Once there, she sought out the third book in the "A Good Girl's Guide to Murder" trilogy.

Aki's days and weeks passed by in the same monotonous routine. After enduring 27 weeks of this, Aki reached a breaking point and couldn't keep silent about Asa's actions after school any longer. However, Aki was conflicted because she didn't want to cause any harm to Asa.

She decided to take action by creating a new Instagram account to share her concerns anonymously. Aki crafted a post with the message: "A Soon Angst. She’s not who she says she is." After posting, Aki quickly logged out of the account.
