Arrow and Scroll
from your bow flew the arrow
with a hiss at the start.
your aim hit the mark: narrow;
it’s point trained on my heart.
from your words shot the arrow.
it lodged inside my soul.
your love was like an arrow -
your words the poisoned scroll
