Revived mind inside dead skin

A contradiction yet again

I don’t need a leap of faith

Just better than what it has been

A falling heart can awake a beast

Just when I expect it the least

Bursting wide open not caring about breaks

Rising from its sleep

Finally breathing without any restraint

If held any longer I was destined to faint

But life you gave me, saving the day

For all this time I wanted to be awake
