Our love was wild and fierce

we devoured the Earth,

Set fire to the universe.

Was my only concern.

The world around us turned to dust,

The Sparks did fly, the flames grew high,

But I was not alarmed.

What a beautiful inferno.

We danced in the flames, untamed,

So wild, so free, so unafraid.

I exploded the first time our lips met,

You burned so bright; it was almost too much.

We breathed fire for one another,

World’s collided when we touched.

Like thieves in the night, we stole the sun,

Dismantled the stars, and made them ours.

But the fire has burned out, the flames have died down

All that’s left now is ashes, and our beautiful scars.
