The Beginning Of The End

That day that I have dreaded for so long has finally come, o braced myself as I bound into the unknown. So far everything was fine the old house looked empty, but that what all the people in horror say. I doesn’t help that I’m alone, it’s no one of those times where if “ I run faster than the person I’m with I will survive!” You could hear my squeaky boots and they moved against the old floors, their were vines and moss coating the walls like wall paper around every corner. It’s too bad that this house ended up like this, but I can’t let myself get distracted I’m only halfway through the first floor and I still have one more to go. The first floor had no sign of movement, and I wasn’t shocked... if it wasn’t a dare I wouldn’t be in here! My friends are just so into paranormal stuff... but they are too afraid to come in here themselves. When did I end up with a bunch of sissy’s! The whole loop of this floor is done, I looked up the old grand hickory stairs and got and uneasy feeling from the pits of my stomach. I gulped hard and embraced myself up the stairs checking each step to make sure I wouldn’t fall in, like a kid in a creek. When I made it to the top of the stairs I let go of my breath and glanced down both halls. See this isn’t so bad not as much miss and vibes up here! I chose the left hall first and took huge strides down it so this would go faster. Empty, the second hall empty see this is so easy it’s ok I’m ok! I took a few skips to the top at the stairs and laughed at myself. A huge black shadow suddenly covered where I was standing, oh no. I could feel a strain of my shirt up against my neck until their was nothing but darkness in my sight.
