Mysteries Of Night

Mystery’s of the day are few and far between.

Mystery’s of the night are much more than they may seem.

One may think night is all dark,

They have not seen the inciting spark,

To which some go for a lark,

A difference so stark.

Dark is a sky with out stars,

No fireflies or lightening bugs.

Dark is a land with no sounds,

No crickets to chirp,

Creeks to run, uninterrupted by by the sun.

For:

Night is of pleasures.

Night is for the peace of sleep,

The comfort of home,

The daring of new.

Night is of trouble.

For when the sun goes down,

Evil believes its shadows are no longer bound.

But they forget night is not dark,

They still can be seen,

Night will protect the less keen.

Night is a mystery easily unraveled,

As it is the day with no sun for shadows.

Just as day illuminates the known,

Night illuminates the unknown.

Day leaves room for nights imagination,

While night answers without provocation.

Do not mistake darkness at right,

For it does not define the mysteries of the night.
