Life Without You

Write a poem or short story about what life would be like without the person you care about the most.

I will not go without Wherever you go, sweet child I will follow closely. Without you, life was without magic. Without sunshine And without meaning. Basically, it was hella tragic. So I know without a shadow of doubt I cannot go without ~love letters to the Divine Child within 🤍

Ooo I really like this one! If I were to quote what I liked, I’d basically just cut and paste your entire poem.

Going off of Spencer’s feedback, I have an idea for you 🙃 if your first and last lines are their own stanzas, it might help the eye and force the reader to pause. I see why you’d need to keep those lines since they tie the poem together. This way, not only will they read differently, the lines themselves will be alone (or…without) giving them that lonely feel you seem to be evoking. Hope this helps!

This is so pretty! I really like the “hella tragic” lol. The first two lines were a little clunky, i’ll be honest, i had to reread them a couple times before i continued. But other than that everything flows really well! Great job!
