Shelly could see the cone at the end of the road. The bright orange color beckoning her to complete her goal. Her purple hair was pulled back into a ponytail that swung back and forth with each step she ran asphalt road. The wind blew slightly against her tan sweat covered skin. Her spandex orange shorts stuck to her muscles thighs and the white thin t-shirt showed the matching orange sports bra underneath.

Finally reaching the orange cone Shelly bent over with her hands on her knees. Her breath blowing out in rapid bursts. As she waited for her heart to slowly come down off its running target she looked at her watch. Excitedly she saw that this run was done 2 minutes quicker then her last. Only one more week of training before the annual Halloween marathon.
