POEM STARTER

Write a poem in which every line begins with the first letter of your name.

While this isn’t a conventional poetic form, it is interesting to play around with constraints. See how many words connect to your name!

Orange Sun.

Orange sun juices out hues in the sky,

Offering me the sight of a daytime,

Outweighed by the moon and its arrival,

Occupying its space again in moments,

Out in the open, yet it feels like mine,

Ornamental to all sorts of skins, sight,

Observant is my eyes when I stare up,

Online is my mind when thoughts cram inside,

Overheating the blues of my sorrows,

Occasionally blanketing me, blind,

Orange shine tears down the depressing bricks,

Optimism- telling me it’s alright,

Oh, I hope this sight will not disappear,

Obey the laws of the world, will it not?,

Only if I could feel this temporary spritz,

On all occasions where my soul’s sun set.
