Nobody went on the bridge. Nobody really knew why, nobody really cared why. It’s not that the bridge looked creepy because it really did look homey. One day, the young princess heard the news that they were going to break it and build something better in its place. The princess had never gone on the bridge itself, but she remembered it as part of her childhood: whenever she was walking through the kingdom she would see it. In solidarity she decided to sit on the bridge until they decided to keep it. She knew they wouldn’t tear it down with her on it because the princess was beloved. She sat on the bridge starting February 23 and finally on March 10, they agreed not to tear it down!
