WRITING OBSTACLE
Write a story from the point of view that you find the most challenging: first, second or third person.
Try to make the story you tell match the narrative style - think about what kind of stories are told from the perspective you find difficult.
It Was Disgust
You know the first thing you felt when you saw him was?
It was disgust.
But you. You never wanted this.
This cold new emotion that drowned you to death. It muffled your thoughts and bled into your actions.
And so what did you do? You tried to kill him. Keeping a secret so dirty it deserved to die. He was a monstrosity that could shake your world and destroy life as you knew it.
But who knew? He was death himself. A grim reaper coming to kill you before you could to him, was what he said. A fitting response to how you reacted.
Disgust turned to rage. Rage turned to sorrow. Sorrow turned into numbness.
In the end, when you could kill him, you never realized how dependent you were on him until he was gone.
