Obsession
When I heard the first single on the radio I was hooked. It was the most incredible music I’d heard. Sure it was simple and catchy, but for whatever reason it spoke to me on a level I wouldn’t have been able to explain.
The artist was Kaira DeLeon*. I had never heard of her, but apparently she’d released her album the year before. After I heard that single, I went and found everything she recorded. I set myself up to receive notifications about concert dates and new releases. I was a fan.
I’m not sure when it started to turn. But I began having dreams about her, and wanting to be near her. I managed to find out where she lived. I only went once, just to see for myself. The night I got into trouble, was after a concert. I left a little early and found my way onto her tour bus. I just wanted to see how it looked inside. They didn’t discover me until halfway to the next city. I was arrested for trespassing.
The next time I was arrested was for stalking. I was just leaving messages on her phone and sending gifts so she knew how much I loved her. She needed to know. Even from prison, I still send her letters. I didn’t mean to frighten her. I just love her.
