If only I was not a threat,

To others that are the same.

Friends left to not pay debts,

No one can cure the lame.

They see me stroll into the world,

Blink or you’ll see the hatred they show.

My head in a blender from thoughts they whirled,

Skinned scars beginning to glow.

Sunsets bleed into reflections,

Basking enemies into Hellish light.

They look at me with eyes of deception,

Igniting my fight or flight.

How brave for them to be so cruel,

While I sit here tormented and lonely.

One day I shall be someone’s jewel,

One day…if only.
