the moment you left a cloud appeared

leaning over me everywhere i went

and while the world may be gloomy without you,

it is not pitch black

it’s easy to say it will clear but when life is gloomy depression always sneaks up behind you and puts a blindfold over your eyes, now the world appears pitch black

many people will walk by you but only one will be brave enough to take the blindfold off

the world will still seem gloomy but gloomy is a whole lot better than pitch black
