Chaos
“Dennis Wake up!” I woke up drowsy and confused, unaware of what’s going on around me. My family walking around the house frantically trying to pack up whatever stuff they could fit into their luggages. I asked, “Mom, what the hell is going on right now? You woke me up and now we’re packing our whole house?” She looked at me in disbelief as if I was supposed to already know what is happening. She gestured at my brother Eric, demanding and explanation from me. “Your sleepy ass was sleeping through a nuclear threat, and now we might just die if we don’t find some place safe. So get your ass to packing,” he sighed.
I looked around to see if there’s anything important to me that I’d want to pack in mine, but I’m not a hoarder like my siblings. I quickly grabbed a few shirts and pants, some socks and underwear, and a lot of packs of ramen. I thought for a second, maybe I do need to bring a baseball bat. So I chucked it in my backpack. What? You don’t know if you need to fight off aliens or something. Or maybe there’s some random guys that are trying to rob us for resources. Anything is possible.
I hear my sister screaming downstairs, and a few foreign voices. I rushed down the stairs to see shape shifting creatures that were just shot in to our window. Oh my god. This has just gotten chaotic.
