I see something

Something that is me

Something that’s uncanny

I smile

She smirks

I frown

She laughs

This isn’t a normal mirror

And this isn’t me

This is a nightmarish version

Of myself

That I grimace at the look

Of her unhinged eyes

I breath slowly

Then faster

I feel cold hands around my neck

Is she choking me

I turn around to see

That she has stepped outside of the mirror

I awakened her somehow

She opens her face and swallows my body in an instant
