POEM STARTER
Write a poem which uses the scenario of being a fly on the wall.
To be a fly on the wall is to witness something private. Think of a situation in which this eavesdropping would be interesting, and write a poem based on your thoughts.
We’re Bigger When We Don’t Know Were Small
This world is so huge
And we are so insignificant
But we cannot know we’re not tall
we’re bigger when we don’t know we’re small
When we know we are this small,
And forget that we’re not to tall
We begin to stop caring, trying, begin to fall
we’re bigger when we don’t know we’re small
We need someone to make us remember
That we are tall, all the time, jan-December
We laugh, we sing, we walk with confidence
Bigger than we could ever prove
Because the fact is
we’re bigger when we don’t know we’re small
